Spring and Summer Check-up (Air Conditioning)

  1. Clean existing air filter (if washable)
  2. Blower Motor - Measure amperage and voltage for proper operation
  3. Inspect indoor coil, if accessible
  4. Thermostat - Test for proper operation, calibrate and level
  5. Bearing - Inspect for wear and lubricate
  6. Regrigerant - Monitor operating pressures
  7. Inspect Condensate Drain & Inspect Condensate Pump if applicable. Inspect Condenser Coil
  8. Electrical Wiring - Inspect for safety
  9. Safety Devices - Inspect for proper operation
  10. Electrical Disconnet Box - Inspect for wiring connections and overheating
  11. Inspect and test capacitors & compressor start components
  12. Test/Inspect contacts for burned/pitted contacts
  13. Inspect service valves for proper operation
  14. Inspect Fan Blade
  15. Compressor - Monitor amp draw and voltage
  16. Measure Supply/Return temperature differential
  17. Check operation of circuit boards
  18. Check equipment sub-cooling and superheat

Heat Pumps

These services are performed during the Fall & Winter Check-ups
  1. Check proper operation of the reversing valve
  2. Test Defrost Sensor
  3. Test operation of defrost board and adjust if needed
  4. Check operation of heat strips
  5. Confirm operation of solenoid



Fall & Winter Check-up (Heating)

  1. Ignition System - Test for safe adn proper operation
  2. Exhaust System - Inspect for proper venting
  3. Thermostat - Test for proper operation, calibrate and level
  4. Inspect for combustible material around furnace
  5. Inspect and test all safety devices for proper operation
  6. Measure Supply/Return temperature differential
  7. Clean existing air filter if washable
  8. Inspect and test operational controls for proper operation
  9. Furnace Burner - Inspect and clean as required
  10. Gas Pressure - Measure and adjust for peak efficiency
  11. Blower Motor - Measure amperage and voltage for proper operation
  12. Lubricate all moving parts per manufacture
  13. Heat Exchangers - Inspect and clean as required
  14. Electrical Wiring - Inspect and tighten connections
  15. Check combustion blower motor operation
  16. Test gas connections for leaks
  17. Test sequence of operation per manufacture specifications
